High school students can earn college credit at Wayne College

Students can get a jump start on college by enrolling in the postsecondary enrollment options program (PSEOP) at The University of Akron Wayne College. A PSEOP information night will be held on Monday, Feb. 28, at 6:30 p.m., at Wayne College, 1901 Smucker Road, Orrville.

PSEOP was created in 1989 by the state of Ohio to allow qualified high school students to enroll in a college or university and receive both high school and college credit. Tuition, textbooks, materials, and fees related to the coursework are covered by the program.

Information about Wayne College, application procedures, the Honors College, and a tour of the campus will be available. Former and current PSEOP students will be on hand to answer questions and explain how PSEOP works for them.

No RSVP is necessary. For more information, contact Sarah Jane Morrow, admissions counselor at 330-684-8912 or e-mail sjm34@uakron.edu.
