Critchfield law resident scholarship and diversity scholarship announced

The law firm of Critchfield, Critchfield & Johnston, Ltd., located in Wooster, Millersburg, Mount Vernon and Medina, has announced it is sponsoring two law scholarships for the 2011-2012 school year. The Critchfield Law Resident Scholarship is offered for a current or former resident of Ashland, Holmes, Knox, Medina or Wayne County who has completed at least one semester of law school. The Critchfield Law Diversity Scholarship is offered to a minority student who has completed at least one semester of law school.

“We are looking forward to rewarding these students for their contributions to their community, as well as academic achievements,” said Daniel H. Plumly, managing partner of Critchfield, Critchfield & Johnston, Ltd.

At least one award in the amount of $1,000 will be provided for each scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year. The deadline for applying for the 2011-2012 scholarships is Friday, July 15.
