Larry McElroy
Larry C. McElroy, 74, of Shreve, died April 28, 2011, at his home, following a sudden illness.
Larry was born July 6, 1936, in Loudonville, to the late John C. and Alma McElroy. He worked 40 years for Rubbermaid, Wooster, and served as a deputy sheriff in Holmes and Wayne counties for 30 years. He served three years in the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn McElroy; children, Kenneth McElroy, Pamela (David) Krownapple, and Michael (Stephanie) McElroy, all of Shreve; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy McComas of Shreve and Sharon Sigler of Big Prairie; and brother, Harry McElroy of Shreve.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Etzwiler.
There will be no services. Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, is handling arrangements.
