Nettie Mast
Nettie D. Mast, 83, of Dalton, died May 11, 2011, at her home, following a period of declining health.
Nettie was born June 9, 1927, in Stark County, to the late Dan E. and Sarah C. Yoder. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are children, Henry (Barbara) Mast of Millersburg, Sarah Ann Mast and Mary Esther (David) Wengerd, both of Dundee, Freda (Earl) Erb of Sugarcreek, and Anna (Levi Jay) Beachy and Edna Mast, both of the home; 30 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; sisters, Esther (Ervin) Weaver and Anna Wengerd, both of Dalton; and brothers, Crist D.E. Yoder of Apple Creek and Dan Yoder Jr. of Juanita County, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan A. Mast, whom she married Feb. 26, 1948; brothers, Henry, Eli, and Melvin; sisters, Mary and Ida; and four grandchildren.
Services were held May 14, at the family home, with Bishop Ivan Wengerd officiating. Burial was in Wengerd Cemetery, Sugar Creek Township, Wayne County.
Spidell Funeral Home, Mt. Eaton, handled arrangements.
