Harold Thompson
Harold F. Thompson, 67, of Wooster, died June 8, 2011, at his residence, following a period of declining health.
Harold was born Dec. 6, 1943, in Caldwell, to the late Clarence and Esther Thompson. He had been an independent truck driver for 25 years until ill health forced his retirement.
Surviving are his wife, Janet Thompson, whom he married March 15, 1991; daughters, Shelby Thompson of Wooster, Alisa Thompson Clark of Marietta, and Melinda Allen of Reno; sons, Harold “Butch” Thompson Jr. and Carl Thompson, both of Marietta; numerous grandchildren; and sisters, Thelma Miller of Wooster and Mary Jean Schlauch of Nashville.
Several brothers died previously.
Following his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at a later date. There will be no calling hours.
