William Phipps, M.D., has joined the physician panel of the Wooster Community Hospital Hyperbaric Medicine & Wound Healing Center, in addition to his current surgery practice.

Dr. Phipps practices with Wooster General Surgery and recently completed a week of additional training with National Healing Corporation in preparation for his work with the Wound Healing Center.

The WCH Hyperbaric Medicine & Wound Healing Center has a panel of several physicians from a range of specialties providing care to patients with wounds that won’t heal on their own. In addition to wound treatment, the wound center also possesses two hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) chambers; HBO therapy immerses the patient in 100 percent oxygen to stimulate healing.
