Blowing her way on the oboe and also the WX-5 Wind Machine, a horn touting the sounds of 250 instruments, she brings three decades of music to the stage, having played in the Chicago, Houston and San Jose symphonies - along with a prolific ability to compose.
I came out of a musical pond as an oboist, played symphonic music for a while, and hooked up with Jonathan Richard Cring, a composer and author.
Presently, Clazzy is touring the country with Cring, creating a duo dubbed SpiriTed, a living organism of an orchestra and show, evolving before your eyes.
We started traveling 15 years ago, developing our own musical style clazzy a blending of all the great American stylings.
A survivor and single mother of three grown sons, she provides a heartwarming back-story and a front-story, giving all of her audiences future tales to share.
On Sunday, July 10, at 7 p.m., Clazzy and Cring will perform a free show at the Apple Creek United Methodist Church, at 269 West Main Street in Apple Creek.
The show is a perfect blending of entertainment and inspiration. We offer instrumental music, and because of the WX-5, it sounds like a full orchestra up there, said Clazzy. Its a human show, geared to people, using language of our times.
