The Wayne County Community Foundation (WCCF) recently awarded 176 scholarships totaling more than $395,000 to high school and college students for the 2011-2012 school year.

The foundation recognized the following scholarship recipients:

The WCCF currently has 91 scholarship funds and each scholarship has its own award criteria, such as graduation from a specific high school, financial need, academic achievement or leadership characteristics.
