Monitor Sadiron

It was the Monitor Sadiron Company that put Big Prairie on the map. They received their patent in 1903. This new sadiron had a gasoline tank attached to provide heat. With the coming of electricity sadirons were no longer in demand and the factory at Big Prairie closed.
