Golda was born Sept. 23, 1921, in Rinard Mills, to the late Watson D. and Jennie Graham, and had been a Wayne County resident most of her life. She married Paul William Finley on March 15, 1941.
She was a life member of Church of the Saviour, Wooster, enjoyed flower gardening, and was a life member of Moreland Garden Club. She arranged the altar flowers for the church to enjoy each week. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She was a wonderful and caring mother and grandmother.
Golda is survived by a son, Carl Dana Finley of Montana; daughters, Beryl Jean (Harry) Gackenbach of Euless, Texas, and Carol Ann (Phillip) Williams, Nancy Kay Wetz, and Paula Sue (Charles) Huffman, all of Wooster; granddaughter, Michelle Smith; grandsons, William, Don, and Harry “HH” Gackenbach, Barry and Chris Williams, Matthew and Jason Wetz, Nathan Huffman, and Paul and Wade Finley; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Gladys Graham, Beverly Fisher, Esther Finley, and Maxine Harman.
She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Gladys Schlegel; sisters, Twila Carle and Cecile G. Groom; brothers, Stephen and Lewis Graham; and a great-grandson.
Services will be held Sept. 8, at 11 a.m., at Church of the Saviour, Wooster, with interment to follow in Moreland Cemetery.
