Katie Byler

Katie D. Byler, 71, of Millersburg, died Sept. 24, 2011, following a truck/buggy accident on August 21.

Katie was born August 17, 1940, to the late Dan J.D. and Mary M. Miller. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving are her husband, Enos A. Byler, whom she married June 19, 1986; stepchildren, Atlee (Audrey) Byler of Killbuck, Adrian (Orpha) Blyer and Abe (Mary) Byler, both of Big Prairie, Ada (Roger) Pyers of Wooster, Esther (Reuben) Miller of Apple Creek, Edna (Jonathan) Hershberger of Millersburg, Anna (Roy) Hershberger of Big Prairie, Susie (Marty) Kuhns of Millersburg, Emma (Marvin) Wengerd of Fredericksburg, Jacob (Ada) Byler of Lakeville, Verba (Daniel) Hershberger of the home, and Enos Jr. (Fannie) Byler of Millersburg; siblings, Eli (Suvilla) Miller and Davy (Mattie) Miller, both of Millersburg, and Roman (Susie) Miller, Raymond (Edna) Miller, Mose (Katie) Miller, Sarah (Noah) Miller, Neal (Ada) Miller, and Susan (Roman) Mast, all of Baltic; 73 stepgrandchildren; 70 stepgreat-grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two stepgranddaughters.

Services will be held Sept. 27, at 10 a.m., at the residence, with Allen Troyer officiating. Burial will be in Hershberger Cemetery, Monroe Township. Friends may call anytime.

Arrangements are being handled by Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg.
