Loretta Patrosky celebrated her 100th birthday at Brenn-Field Nursing Center on Tuesday, Sept. 27, surrounded by family and friends. Loretta was born in Akron Sept. 27, 1911, and raised four children. She has 11 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Her hobbies included quilting, crafts, and crocheting. The celebration included cake, punch, flowers, balloons and a special birthday congratulations from the governor of Ohio, and from the President of the United States. Loretta has been a resident of Brenn-Field Nursing Center since 2003. She enjoys visits by family and friends, and listening to TV.
