Wooster honoring its 2011 athletic hall of fame class Oct. 15
Tickets for the Wooster High School Hall of Fame Class of 2011 are currently on sale at the high school athletic office.
The banquet will be held at Wooster High School on Oct. 15, beginning at 5 p.m. with a social hour. Dinner will be at 6 p.m., with the program starting at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center.
A dozen former WHS greats are being inducted into the hall this year: Paul McClure (1910), Jim Dyer and Jim Zuercher (1960s), Sharon Questel and Dave Dalton (1970s), Tiffany Lockett and Lori Vitallo Schultz (1980s), Andrea Stone and Sarah Gordon Baker (1990s) and Rick Wade (2000). Coaches Paul Dodez and Mike Gallagher will join that group.
In addition, the 1993 and 1996 Gallagher-basketball teams that went to State will be honored as well. Richard Graham will also be honored with the Blue and Gold award.
