Hardman was sworn in by Special Agent in Charge Edward J. Hanko, Cincinnati Division and Special Agent in Charge Stephen D. Anthony of the Cleveland Division. Members of the FBINAA include law enforcement executives who have successfully graduated from the FBI National Academy. Less than one percent of law enforcement officers are selected to attend the FBI National Academy.
The Ohio Chapter is recognized nationally as one of the most active chapters and is well-known for its enhanced training. “It is truly an honor to be elected to serve as the 2012 chapter president,” stated Hardman. “Attending the FBI National Academy for 11 weeks was a lot of hard work both academically and physically with the courses and also the fitness program. The Ohio Chapter allows graduates to continue their training and networking with the top law enforcement officers throughout Ohio. It is truly an honor to lead such a dynamic organization as their 2012 president.
“The relationship with the FBI and local law enforcement agencies is such a valuable tool. The relationships built through the FBI National Academy are worldwide and have been such a benefit to Wayne County on several occasions,” according to Captain Hardman. As president, Captain Hardman will assist in setting the activities for 2012 for members of the Ohio Chapter FBINAA to include training opportunities and ways to expand the effective relationships between law enforcement leaders at the local, county, state and federal agencies.
