Emanuel Yoder

Emanuel J. “Chopper” Yoder, 67, of Millersburg, died Oct. 19, 2011, at Wooster Community Hospital, following an extended illness.

Emanuel was born Oct. 12, 1944, in Holmes County, to the late John H. and Emma Yoder. He was a truck driver most of his life for J. Pallet-All, Millersburg, and worked five years for Wayne-Dalton, Mt. Hope. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Angie Yoder, whom he married July 9, 1986; children, Keith (Ro) Yoder of Millersburg and Kevin (Jill) Yoder of Clark; stepchildren, Robert Ringler and Jeff (Bonnie) Ringler, both of Millersburg, Renee (Victor) Brown of Clarksville, Tenn., and Michelle Floyd of Reynoldsburg; six grandchildren, Amanda, Jarrett, Rachelle, Kelsey, Brandon, and Allison; seven stepgrandchildren, Catline, Austin, Ashley, Bobby Jr., Cory, Lashaya, and Kobi; a great-granddaughter; sister, Esther (Ferdinand) Stutzman of Millersburg; brother, Roy (Linda) Yoder of Wooster; and his stepmother, Fannie Yoder of Millersburg.

He was preceded in death by a stepmother, Lydia; brothers, William and Melvin; sister, Lizzie; and a grandson, Darren.

Services will be held Oct. 24, at 1 p.m., at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with Pastor James Butler officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
