1925 sports magazine

Old sports magazines are valuable for the colorful pictures on the covers. This 1925 issue is a very good example. It cost me $10 to add it to my baseball collection.

Recent auction prices: wood scoop, $15; slaw cutter, $35; six-foot wood bench, $27.50; water can, $35; small cast iron coal stove, $55; Imperial slag bowl, $35; crock churn, $55; fireman’s toy, $80; two small crocks, $17.50; sand dump toy, $50; Griswald skillet, $25; Hubley toy truck, $32.50; toy airplane, $75; two-gallon crock jug, $30; small Dazey glass churn, $60; cross-cut saw, $15; plum ax, $6; sausage stuffer, $20; drying rack, $20; blue granite coffee pot, $17; tin stove, $6; toy cash register, $6.

Happy hunting, Brooks.
