Charged up and feeling healthy in Winter Adult Basketball League at The Pier action

Miller Electric and Kidron were charged up in A League play, and both Wayne Health and Pleasant Hill were feeling mighty fit in B League competition, as the Winter Adult Basketball League at The Pier played back-to-back nights – Monday, Nov. 7 and Tuesday, Nov. 8 – and each of those teams picked up its second win against no defeats on the young season.

Dustin Kaufman sent a jolt through the gymnasium, located at the Lighthouse of Hope in Mt. Eaton, as he poured in 26 points for Miller Electric in a 27-point win over Fairview (0-1) on Monday night, while Joe Luster finished with an even healthier number the following night, scoring 36 to lead Wayne Health to a 75-63 win over Saltillo (0-2).

A League games will continue each Monday night throughout the winter, while B League games will normally be played on Thursday nights.

The Lighthouse of Hope provides recreation, fellowship and various programs in a Christian environment.
