Thanksgiving Day praise service and auction celebrates 123 years

Salem Mennonite Church in Kidron will have its 123rd Annual Thanksgiving Day praise service and live auction on Nov. 24. Pete Stauffer will be the auctioneer, as he has done for the past 51 years.

All activities will take place at the Sprunger Building in Kidron. The informal praise service begins at 8:45 a.m. with the live auction at 10 a.m.

There will be quilts, wall hangings, comforters, hand crafts, gift certificates and services, home baked pies and breads, and many other unique items.

Guests are asked to join anytime throughout the morning. All proceeds go to missions and local needs. For more information, contact Barb Sprunger at 330-465-0465.
