Monday evening walk in clinic to close
The Monday evening walk-in immunization clinic at the Wayne County Health Department will no longer be offered beginning January 2012. The WIC clinic will continue to be open.
A reduction in funding in the Immunization Action Plan (IAP) grant made this necessary. An analysis of clinic utilization also reflected that this clinic was utilized the least.
Walk-in clinic hours will continue to be offered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 9-10 a.m. and 1-4 p.m.
The health department will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26 in observance of Christmas.
