Roger Torrence
Roger Dale “Nuge” Torrence, 52, of Wooster, died Dec. 9, 2011.
Roger was born Sept. 21, 1959, to the late George and Pernie. He attended Shreve Elementary and Triway High School. Roger was a friend to all and enjoyed camping, family gatherings, and special events with his friends and neighbors, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Roger will be sadly missed by brothers, Louis (Bonnie) and Glen (Ginny), both of Wooster, and Oscar of Shreve; sisters, Joyce Bair of Logan and Beulena “Boots” (Carl) Cox of Wooster; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends, Tim Hendershot of Shreve and Tabitha and Carl of Wooster.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cremation will take place. Memorial services for family and close friends will be announced at a later date. There will be no calling hours.
Donations can be made in his name to McIntire, Davis and Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, to help defray expenses.
