Anna Yoder

Anna M. Yoder, 85, of Millersburg, died Jan. 1, 2012, at Pomerene Hospital, following a period of declining health.

Born Jan. 29, 1926, in Wayne County, Anna was a daughter of the late “Benton” Mart A. and Fannie Miller. She was a member of the Amish Church.

Surviving are her husband, Henry M. Yoder, whom she married Jan. 20, 1949; children, Priscilla (Willis D.) Miller and Becky (Duane) Hershberger, both of Walnut Creek, Mary (L. Leroy) Raber and Fannie (Roy Allen) Miller, both of Millersburg, Rosy (Robert) Miller of Sugarcreek, and Lister H. (Darlene) Yoder of the home; 27 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brothers, Harry M. Miller of Sugarcreek and John M. Miller of Ossineke, Mich.; and sister Verba (John J.C.) Yoder of Fredricksburg.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Roman; sisters, Mary and Katie; infant brother, Henry; and four grandchildren.

Services will be held Jan. 4, at 9 a.m., at the Ben Raber Jr. residence, Millersburg. Burial will follow in Raber Cemetery, Walnut Creek Township, Holmes County. Viewing will be held anytime at the L. Leroy Raber residence, Millersburg.

Smith-Varns Funeral Home, Sugarcreek, is handling arrangements.
