Margaret Collins
Margaret A. Collins, 79, of Wooster, formerly of Millersburg, died Dec. 28, 2011, at her home, following a long illness.
Margaret was born April 30, 1932, in Millersburg, to the late C. Paul and Lena Anderson. She graduated from Millersburg High School in 1950 and went on to graduate from Kent State University in 1954 with a degree in sociology. She worked briefly in the Atomic Energy Library at Battelle Memorial Institute, Columbus.
Margaret was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, and mother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband, Donald L. Collins, whom she married August 16, 1958; children, Kevin (Patti) of Marion, Kathy (Bob) Gorman of Wooster, Karen (Jim) Laird of Columbus, and Koby of Marion; five grandchildren, Joseph, Mary Grace, and John Gorman of Wooster and Anna and Sam Laird of Columbus; brother, Richard (Anita) Anderson of Mt. Vernon; and various nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Lawhead.
She will be deeply missed by her loving family.
Services will be held Jan. 2, at noon, at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with Pastor Tom Jones officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
