“I have had a chance to get to know JR through his participation in the current Leadership Orrville class,” said Darrin Wasniewski, executive director of Main Street Orrville. “I knew right away that he would be a perfect complement to our team. We are very appreciative of Nagy’s leadership supporting JR in this community service.”
Noe has been with Nagy’s Collision Specialists for six years. He, his wife, and their year-old son live in Sterling. When asked why he wanted to be a part of Main Street Orrville’s leadership team, Noe responded, “I’ve enjoyed being a part of Leadership Orrville and seeing the passion that people have for this town. I’m humbled to be a part of such an outstanding group of people that strive to see its success and preservation. To witness it firsthand is an honor.”
In addition to the monthly board meetings, Main Street Orrville board members are expected to participate in one of four standing committees, volunteer during events, represent the organization locally, and attend program development trainings offered throughout the year. Board terms are three years. A full list of all board members can be found at http://www.MainStreetOrrville.org/main-street-orrville/our-leadership.
“Main Street Orrville board members are more than just advisors to the organization,” explained Wasniewski. “They roll up their sleeves for the betterment of downtown Orrville.”
“It was a true pleasure to welcome a new team member at the first meeting I presided over in my new role,” added Janene Holmes of Dairy Enterprises, Inc. and Main Street Orrville board president. “We look forward to working with JR on future initiatives.”
Main Street Orrville, Inc connects, cultivates, and celebrates while fashioning a destination downtown. The organization is an official Ohio Main Street Program and is accredited through the National Trust Main Street Center. Find them on the Web at http://www.MainStreetOrrville.org.
