Wayne County Speedway officials have been working diligently this off season in preparation for the 2012 racing season. As the 2012 season approaches, the final touches are being put on the schedule with several sanction races dotting the schedule. Jason Flory, general manager, recently finalized two All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Speedweek dates, the first being on Saturday, June 23, and coming back on Monday, June 25. “We are happy to announce our All Star Sprint Speedweek dates. After getting started late last year and not having a Speedweek race it is good to be able to give this to our fans,” stated Flory. “The All Stars do a great job to bring in those racers, staff and officials; our fans will be treated to two great shows.” Other divisions racing on the 23rd is yet to be determined. Racing with the Sprints on Monday, June 25, will be Super Late Models.
The All Star Circuit of Champion Sprints will be returning Sunday, Sept. 2 for the Labor Day weekend sprint special. The 2012 season schedule is nearly complete and ready to publish. “We have made a few additions to our schedule; things our fans have asked for and we stepped up to the plate and delivered.”
