Adult and community education at the Wayne County Schools Career Center is offering a $1,000 scholarship for any Wayne County 2012 graduating senior who enrolls in a full-time career development program. Full-time career development programs include computer and accounting office specialist, computer technology office specialist, computers for today’s office, medical office billing and coding specialist, precision machining technology, welding technology, building maintenance technology, industrial maintenance technology, practical nursing, and medical assisting. High school seniors should contact their guidance counselor or the adult and community education office at 330-669-7070 for an application. Application deadline is April 16.
