City of Wooster 2012 Memorial Day parade participant applications are now available
The committee of military veterans planning details of Wooster’s observance of Memorial Day is taking applications for entries into the annual parade.
Organizations which have not previously been in the parade, or have not participated in the last two years, are asked to meet with the committee to discuss their plans for possible approval. Next meeting of the committee will be Monday, March 19, and Monday, April 2. The meetings are held at Wooster American Legion Post 68 on Sylvan Road, and start at 6 p.m. No advance appointment is necessary.
Commercial and political parade entries are not allowed. All elements in the parade must reflect the proper patriotic recognition of those who have given their lives in military service to the United States of America.
