Hubert Fair
Hubert V. Fair, 86, of Wooster, died May 19, 2012, at his home.
Hubert was born July 7, 1925, in Wayne County, the son of the late Vernon and Beulah Fair, and married Wanda L. Kaufman on Oct. 11, 1945. She died in 2010.
Hubert retired from Western Southern Insurance Co. after more than 20 years of service and served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, New Pittsburg.
Surviving are sons, Timothy A. (Amy) Fair of Wooster and Michael V. (Victoria) Fair of Boston, Mass.; grandchildren, Scott (Pamela) Fair of Columbus, Nicole (Bill) Maddocks of Colorado, Christopher (Holly) Fair of Jeromesville, and Anastasia (Jeremy) Wilkinson of Virginia; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Ryan Fair, Hailey and Zoe Maddocks, and Andrew and Reagan Wilkinson; and sister, Mildred Fisher of Loudonville.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Fair.
Services will be held May 24, at 11 a.m., at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, Wooster, with Rev. Paul Thoms officiating. Burial will be in Reedsburg Cemetery. Friends will be received one hour prior to services.
