Boo is ready to go home

Boo has made a lot of progress at the shelter. He is waiting for a family to adopt him.

This handsome guy is Boo. He is a 6-year-old neutered Rottweiler mix who has spent most of his life as an outside dog. It has taken him some time to adjust to the staff and the environment at the shelter, but he has made an amazing transformation since shelter staff have been working with him. He is now ready to find a home.
He loves to go for walks and run around. He can be unsure of new people at times, so the staff is working on his socialization skills. He will need some basic training and would thrive in a home with older children. He can be rough when taking treats. If you own a dog, there is a mandatory meet and greet. He did better with medium to small dogs. He will need to be in a feline-free home.
For more information about Boo or other adoptable dogs, call the Wayne County Dog Shelter at 330-345-1018. The shelter is located at 5694 Burbank Road, Wooster. Hours are Tuesday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shelter is always closed on Sundays, Mondays and all major holidays.
