Help Meals on Wheels share the love this holiday season

Meals on Wheels marketing manager Melissa Coultas celebrates Share the Love at the Football HOF with her Subaru.

Submitted

For the 10th year in a row, Subaru of America has invited Meals on Wheels to participate in its annual Share the Love event.

Now through Jan. 2, Subaru will donate $250 to a host of charities including Meals on Wheels for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased, based on customer choice. The more the agency does to raise community awareness of this event, the more funding it will receive from Subaru of America, and that is why Meals on Wheels is asking for the community’s help.

If you drive a Subaru vehicle, Meals on Wheels asks for you to take Meals on Wheels pictures while you are out and about: pictures of you with your vehicle holding Meals on Wheels signs and pictures of your Subaru at local landmarks or any combination of the two.

The agency wants to show Subaru of America the generosity and involvement of Wayne County, and the more people who come together to support Meals on Wheels and Subaru, the more funds can be earned for nutritionally at-risk neighbors.

If you would like a Meals on Wheels sticker for you to hold or place on your car, contact them. You also can print Meals on Wheels’ logo from its website.
