Warm up with a 4-mile hike

Wooster Memorial Park has more than 320 acres of pristine woodland for hiking. There are more than 6 miles of primitive trails, scenic overlooks, the Rathburn Run, picnic pavilions and public restrooms.

The Friends of the Wooster Memorial Park invite seasoned hikers to enjoy a 4-mile hike on the Outer Trail, which includes two stream crossings with no bridges on Sunday, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. The hike will begin at the Education Parking Area. 
 
Hikers are asked to dress for the weather. Proper footwear is a must. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
 
The Outer Trail is one of the most challenging trails in the park. It traverses the ridges, valley and side ravines of Rathburn Run.

Wooster Memorial offers educational opportunities along with a place to get back to nature. The park does not permit bikes, horses or motorized vehicles and is open to foot traffic only.
 
This park is located at 5197 Silver Road at the intersection of Jefferson and Silver roads, just west of Wooster, off U.S. 250.
